Record Number of Sites in 2008 Wisconsin Solar Tour
Over 220 businesses and homes opened their doors to showcase renewable energy systems, green building and sustainable practices. Thanks for taking part in the Wisconsin Solar Tour, October 3 & 4. The Wisconsin Solar Tour was part of the National Solar Tour, coordinated by the American Solar Energy Society.

Wisconsin Climate Change Conference
December 11 & 12, 2008
Join the Lt. Governor and us for a unique opportunity to strengthen Wisconsin's local leaders and address climate change. This historic summit is built around the simple premise that our action on climate change will be implemented locally. Regional teams are invited to discover current scientific information and models, and then gather innovative ideas and specific action items, policy options to take home to implement. Federal Renewable Energy Tax Credits Signed Into Law!
After much debate and work the renewable energy tax credits that were set to expire have now been improved and extended for 8 years. The new law includes the 30% solar tax credit and removal of the overall cap for residential solar installations. The new law will also extend research and development tax credits.
